<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Mechanical &amp; Electrical (M&amp;E) Engineer – Facilities Maintenance</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> AL, WD, UB, EN, HP postcodes, there may be a requirement to work outside of these areas</p> <p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time – Permanent</p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong> £40000pa based on working 40hrs per week.</p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a skilled and proactive <strong>Mechanical &amp; Electrical (M&amp;E) Engineer</strong> to join <strong>Facilities Maintenance</strong> company. You’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance across a range of clients in Hospitality and Retail sectors.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>· Covering reactive call outs on mechanical and electrical basis for main clients within hospitality and retail industry</p> <p>· Attend and respond to reactive repairs within SLA’s and KPI’s</p> <p>· Ensure all works are completed in compliance with relevant health &amp; safety regulations and company procedures</p> <p>· Logging job details on handheld devices</p> <p>· Maintain accurate service and maintenance records</p> <p>· Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or urgent maintenance requests</p> <p>· Liaise with clients, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p>· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent</p> <p>· Proven experience in a similar M&amp;E facilities maintenance role</p> <p>· Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical building systems</p> <p>· Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</p> <p>· Full UK Driving licence</p> <p>Working hours basic Monday to Friday 40hrs per week.
