About the Role
An Electrical Construction Supervisor is required on a permanent basis to support electrical and I&C installation works on the Hinkley Point C nuclear new‑build programme.
This role suits an experienced site supervisor with strong technical depth and the confidence to manage subcontractors, interfaces, quality, and safety across complex electrical scopes. You will play a key role in taking works from erection through to readiness for commissioning, within a highly structured and safety‑critical environment.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Supervising electrical and I&C construction activities through to turnover
Managing subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe, efficient execution
Planning and coordinating works in line with the overall construction schedule
Ensuring materials, tools and documentation are in place ahead of site activities
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and QA compliance
Managing progress tracking, reporting and as‑built documentation
Coordinating interfaces with engineering, commissioning and other disciplines
Supporting punch‑list closure and readiness for commissioning
Embedding EHS policies, conducting toolbox talks and safety walks
What we’re looking for:
Strong site experience supervising electrical construction on large industrial or power projects
Sound understanding of electrical systems and construction sequencing
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary interfaces
A safety‑first mindset with experience working in regulated environments
Clear communicator with a practical, solutions‑focused approach
Why consider this role:
Permanent opportunity on one of the UK’s largest energy infrastructure projects
Long‑term programme with stability beyond traditional project roles
Exposure to complex electrical systems within nuclear construction
For experienced electrical supervisors looking for security, scale, and technical challenge, this is a standout permanent opportunity.
