About the Role

This nonprofit healthcare and social services organization has been a leader in advocacy and direct care since the early 1990s. With a long-term commitment to harm reduction and community-based services, the organization established New York State’s first harm reduction-based, OASAS-licensed outpatient drug treatment program. Today, services include health home care management, behavioral health, syringe exchange programs, and other community support initiatives.

In addition to service delivery, the organization is a pioneer in social entrepreneurship, operating multiple high-end retail shops and community-based cultural spaces. It also plays an active role in advocating for funding and legislation to ensure underserved communities have access to housing, healthcare, prevention, and treatment.
