Apply online now and shape your professional future with us! In this lab-focused position, you will be at the heart of our preclinical research and development. Your primary workplace will be the laboratory, where you will independently conduct technical experiments, optimize sample preparation, and refine detection methods for our core technologies. Depending on your professional experience, you will work largely independently or lead moderately complex experimental series on your own responsibility. Your main tasks in the laboratory include: Experimental execution: Practical implementation of a variety of standardized and advanced laboratory procedures, biological/physical measurements, and scientific methods. Methods & Sample Optimization: Conducting targeted experiments to optimize sample preparation and improve detection approaches, coupled with our core diagnostic technology. Practical Experimental Design: Exercising technical discretion in the practical design, execution, and evaluation of experiments within preclinical projects. Laboratory Management & Safety: Actively organizing daily laboratory operations, performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment, and strictly adhering to and monitoring laboratory safety guidelines. Error Detection Directly at the Bench: Independently identifying deviations and problems during the laboratory process and developing practical solutions. Laboratory Documentation: Complete and precise logging of all laboratory data directly within the framework of applicable quality systems, as well as creating technical reports and validation protocols.
  • Successfully completed Bachelor's degree (BS) in Biology , preferably with a focus on cell biology or genetics , or completed vocational training, for example as a biology laboratory assistant or BTA .
  • Several years of practical laboratory experience in industry or ideally in the field of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) .
  • Experience in handling common laboratory equipment, standard techniques and carrying out sequential experimental procedures.
  • Safe handling of computers and laboratory-related software applications for data acquisition.
  • Excellent English and good German skills, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Teamwork skills for smooth collaboration in interdisciplinary research projects.
