Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Sales Assistant for a manufacturing company in Ayrshire. We’re on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic individual to elevate our customer relationships and drive business growth! You’ll play a key role in maintaining strong connections with our established customer base while also unlocking new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales & Customer Engagement: Cultivate lasting relationships with existing customers and generate new business over the phone, focusing on providing exceptional service and solutions that excite and inspire.
Collaboration is Key: Work closely with the sales team to hit and exceed targets, driving collective success. Your contributions will be vital in shaping our overall sales strategy!
Production Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate with the production department to ensure all customer requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Customer Problem Solver: Resolve customer queries and issues with confidence, providing solutions that leave a lasting positive impact.
Day-to-Day Administration: Keep operations running smoothly with general office administration duties, ensuring everything is organised and customer needs are prioritised.

Sector Experience: Experience in manufacturing/construction/building sectors.

Attention to Detail: You’re meticulous and focused, able to track and manage all relevant customer information.
Proven Experience: Sales experience would be ideal, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone eager to take on a challenge and grow with us.
Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and eager to embrace new systems and technologies.
Adaptable: Flexibility to travel to different plants and adapt to the evolving needs of the business will be key.
