Planning Solicitor (0β3 PQE) Birmingham | Hybrid Working | Leading National Firm
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding planning team, recognised for advising on a wide range of complex and high-profile planning and environmental matters. You will work closely with developers, landowners, investors and public sector clients on significant projects across the UK.
The Role - Assisting on a broad range of planning and environmental matters, including applications, appeals, enforcement and judicial review
- Supporting on large-scale residential, commercial and mixed-use developments
- Drafting and reviewing key planning documentation, including Section 106, Section 38 and Section 278 agreements
- Conducting legal research and supporting strategic land and site promotion work
- Working closely with colleagues across real estate, construction and litigation teams
- Building client relationships and supporting business development activities
About You - Qualified solicitor with 0β3 yearsβ PQE in planning law or relevant real estate experience with planning exposure
- Previous seat or experience within a planning or real estate team
- Strong interest in planning and development work
- Good understanding of the UK planning system and legislative framework
- Strong drafting, analytical and research skills
- Proactive, commercially aware and a strong team player
