We’re excited to work again with this trusted partner client in their latest growth phase in adding critical Product Managerial acumen to the team.

A fast paced but friendly business, this is a role with real opportunity for growth for the successful candidate; we’re seeking sharp and experienced applicants from a product or project related environment to begin as quickly as possible.

An autonomous and opportunity driven role – there is a real chance to shine and take ownership here for the successful applicant; the product is a specialist offering that is only available and managed by this business (and role) in a highly topical sector, supplying the construction industry.

You should come from a business that ideally supplies the construction sector, with previous knowledge of technical products, their specifications and ideally their fabrication processes. A commercial acumen is also a key driver for our client to identify – pricing, profit and customer/partner relationships are an essential trait to bring to the table.

Given the size of the business, it would be helpful for candidates to have had previous experience of an SME/growing business whereby everyone is extremely hands-on and team oriented.

Key duties include:

• Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the product, from material composition to application and end use.
• Provide technical and specification support to internal teams, distribution partners and customers.
• Manage product pricing, ensuring raw material procurement costs, preparing quotations based on partner input and customer requirements.
• Exploring stock and supply forecasting to maximise product availability.
• Building relationships and key account management.
• Manage all back office admin, order processing and systems where this product is concerned
