This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, patient-centered environment, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of </span><span>Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD)</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p></div><div><p><b><span>Clinical </span><span>Responsibilities:</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>P</span><span>roviding specialized outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Performing and interpreting advanced cardiac imaging relevant to ACHD (e.g., echo, MRI, CT).</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Coordinating multidisciplinary care, including surgery, interventional cardiology, maternal-fetal medicine, and genetics.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Managing the transition of patients from pediatric to adult congenital care.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Developing and overseeing dedicated ACHD clinics and outreach services.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Supervising procedures related to ACHD, when applicable.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients, ensuring </span><span>timely</span><span> diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Engage in clinical research to advance the field of </span><span>ACHD</span><span> </span><span>and contribute to publications and academic endeavors.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Participate in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows within the cardiovascular department.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest techniques and </span><span>technologies vascular</span><span> and ensure integration into clinical practice.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Provide leadership in the expansion of </span><span>ACHD</span><span> services within the institution and across outreach locations.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p></div><div><p><b><span>Qualifications:</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>MD or DO degree, board-certified or board-eligible in </span><span>Cardiovascular Disease</span><span> and </span><span>Adult Congenital Heart Disease</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Fellowship training in Cardiology </span><span>and </span><span>ACHD.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Extensive experience in </span><span>outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong academic and research background, with a desire to contribute to advancing clinical practices.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><b><span>The University of Miami</span></b><span><span> offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary, and the opportunity to work in a world-class institution with </span><span>state-of-the-art</span><span> facilities.
