Are you passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning?
A specialist SEND school in Portsmouth is looking for caring and dedicated Learning Mentors to join their team for the new academic year. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Responsibilities
Supporting students on a one-to-one and small group basis
Encouraging engagement within lessons and school activities
Building positive relationships with pupils
Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development
Working closely with teaching staff and therapists

A patient and supportive approach
Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is desirable
Strong communication skills
A genuine passion for making a difference
