Job Post Summary – Van Driver (Washington, NE37) Employer: The Recruitment Crowd (recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading client) Location: Washington, NE37 Job Type: Ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Pay: £12.75 per hour (PAYE) Increases to £13.30 per hour after 12 weeks (PAYE) Hours: 8:00 AM start 5–6 shifts per week, including weekends Key Responsibilities Deliver and collect parcels from Parcelshops and Smart Lockers. Load and unload parcels manually. Follow planned delivery routes and schedules. Handle parcels carefully and ensure timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service. Complete delivery paperwork accurately. Requirements Full UK driving licence. No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only). Ability to pass a driving assessment. Good communication and customer service skills. Physically fit to load and unload parcels. Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively.
