Job vacancy: Paid Elder/Pastor at Aigburth Community Church

Aigburth Community Church (ACC) is looking for a paid elder to work with our existing elders in leading and shaping our church life together.  ACC is located in south Liverpool with a congregation of around 120 adults and children. We are affiliated to the FIEC.  We seek to grow our church into a community of loving believers through the proclamation of Jesus from the Scriptures in the power of the Spirit in a way that engages with the hearts and minds of its hearers, and we believe it’s vital that a congregation sees godliness and faith modelled by a team of elders who work together to this end.  Salary: £28,000-£50,000 Requirements:  The person in this post will need to be:  of godly character, as set out in the Scriptures  an able teacher in formal and informal settings  prayerful  committed to the truths set out in our Statement of Faith and Doctrinal Distinctives (available on request)  able to lead, equip and empower a small staff team  committed to discipling and training of church members  We are open to considering men with any level of experience who meet the above requirements, and we will also consider a less than full-time role. The salary indicated above is indicative only, dependent on experience. Our guiding principle is to value ministry with appropriate generosity.
