Load Coordinator

Load Coordinator / Team Leader (Warehouse & Logistics) We are currently recruiting for a Load Coordinator to join a busy warehouse operation, with a clear progression route into a Team Leader role. This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse or logistics experience who are looking to take the next step in their career. Pay & Progression: Starting at £12.30 per hour Rising to £12.90 per hour after successful 3-month probation Increasing to £14.14 per hour once fully trained as Team Leader (training may run until year end) Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week Alternating shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 10:00–18:00 (weekly rotation) 30-minute unpaid break per shift Overtime available, with occasional Saturday mornings (typically 06:00–11:00) Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading vehicles (internal fleet and external hauliers) Securing loads and assisting drivers Receiving and unloading third-party deliveries Maintaining warehouse organisation and managing loading bays Preparing empty crates for picking operations Supporting general warehouse tasks as required Progression & Leadership Duties Training and supporting new team members Acting as the main point of contact for vehicle loading operations Monitoring and achieving loading KPIs What We’re Looking For: Previous warehouse or loading experience Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organisational skills Willingness to learn and develop into a leadership position
