<h3>The Role</h3>
<p>Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for depot operations, ensuring performance, compliance, and service excellence across all functions.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leading day-to-day depot operations across warehouse and transport functions</li>
<li>Driving operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement</li>
<li>Managing and developing operational teams, including supervisors and managers</li>
<li>Overseeing fleet, resource planning, and site performance</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and operator licence requirements</li>
<li>Managing KPIs, budgets, and performance reporting</li>
<li>Leading recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives</li>
<li>Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers</li>
<li>Supporting business growth, new contracts, and operational expansion</li>

<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in a senior depot, transport, or warehouse operations role</li>
<li>Strong leadership background managing large operational teams</li>
<li>Experience across both <strong>transport and warehouse operations</strong></li>
<li>Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and costs</li>
<li>Strong understanding of <strong>logistics, compliance, and operational best practice</strong></li>
<li>Experience driving continuous improvement within an operational environment</li>
<li>Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of DVSA compliance and transport legislation</li>
<li>CPC qualification and/or FORS knowledge advantageous</li>
