Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Component Fabricator for a respected manufacturing partner in the area. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical background who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in precision. You'll be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and inspecting components made from metal, plastic, or composites.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions

• Measure, mark, and cut raw materials to required specifications

• Operate fabrication equipment including:

  • Press brakes, shears, and saws

  • Manual and CNC lathes or mills

  • Drill presses, grinders, and rollers

• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick), bending, and forming operations

• Fit and assemble parts using fasteners, welding, or adhesives

• Deburr, sand, and finish components as needed

• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Maintain tools and equipment and follow all safety protocols

Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and physical stamina

• Proficiency in welding, machining, or fabrication processes

• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

• Familiarity with measurement tools and quality standards

• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
