Job Specification: Branch Manager - Southsea Role overview We're looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead a busy residential sales branch in Southsea . You'll be responsible for driving instructions, managing and developing the team, and delivering excellent customer service while hitting agreed sales targets. Salary & package Basic: £30,000 OTE: £50,000-£60,000 (uncapped commission structure assumed) Key responsibilities Lead the branch to achieve monthly and quarterly targets (instructions, exchanges/completions, income) Win new business through market appraisal generation, relationship building, and local networking Manage the sales pipeline: ensure strong applicant registration, viewing levels, offers and sales progression Coach, train and performance-manage the team (negotiators/valuers/admin as applicable) Maintain high standards of compliance and best practice (AML, GDPR, material information, complaints) Deliver standout customer service and protect the brand reputation Monitor competitor activity and local market conditions; adjust strategy accordingly Produce accurate weekly/monthly reporting and forecasts Required experience Proven track record as a Branch Manager (or strong Assistant Manager/Senior Negotiator ready to step up) Strong valuation and instruction-winning capability Solid understanding of the Southsea/Portsmouth market (or demonstrable ability to learn quickly) Experience managing targets, KPIs, and team performance Confident handling negotiations through to sale agreed and supporting sales progression Skills & attributes Commercial, target-driven and proactive Strong leadership and coaching style Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly organised with good attention to detail Professional, credible and customer-focused Resilient under pressure with a solutions mindset Qualifications & requirements Full UK driving licence and own car (preferred/required depending on employer) ARLA/MNEA qualifications are advantageous but not essential INDTG
