<p><strong>Astute Recruitment</strong> are proud to be working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced and driven <strong>Credit Control Manager</strong> to join their team based in <strong>Long Eaton.</strong></p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a confident professional to take ownership of the <strong>credit control</strong> function, leading a team and ensuring effective management of the <strong>sales ledger</strong> and <strong>cash flow</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Managing and leading the <strong>credit control</strong> team on a day-to-day basis</li>
<li>Overseeing the full <strong>credit control</strong> function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt</li>
<li>Setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing support and development to team members</li>
<li>Implementing and improving <strong>credit control</strong> procedures and processes</li>
<li>Building strong relationships with key customers to resolve queries and reduce aged debt</li>
<li>Producing regular reports on debtor status, cash flow, and team performance</li>
<li>Working closely with senior management to support financial objectives</li>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience within <strong>a credit control</strong> role, with <strong>previous experience managing a team</strong></li>
<li>Strong leadership and people management skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication and negotiation abilities</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Proficiency in accounting/finance systems and Microsoft Excel</li>
