About the Role

Part-Time SENCO – Primary School (Chiswick) A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chiswick is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join the team on a part-time basis (2 days per week) starting after the Easter holidays. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs and helping ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed. Role Details • SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) • Part-time – 2 days per week • Start date: After the Easter holidays • Based in Chiswick The Role As SENCO, you will lead and coordinate the provision for pupils with special educational needs across the school. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive high-quality, targeted support. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and develop the school’s SEND provision and strategy • Support teachers in identifying and meeting the needs of pupils with SEND • Coordinate and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) • Lead SEND reviews and maintain accurate documentation • Liaise with parents, external agencies, and the senior leadership team • Support staff with strategies, interventions, and inclusive practice We Are Looking For Someone Who • Is a qualified teacher with experience in SEND • Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or is willing to work towards it • Has strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice • Is organised, proactive, and confident working collaboratively with staff and families • Is passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs What the School Offers • A supportive and welcoming school community • A collaborative leadership team • Opportunities to make a real impact on the school’s SEND provision • A positive and inclusive working environment If you are an experienced SEND professional looking for a flexible part-time SENCO role, we would love to hear from you.
