About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Art & Technology to join our forward-thinking secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire creativity, practical skills, and problem-solving. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing students’ artistic expression while developing their technical knowledge and design thinking skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Art, Design & Technology in line with the national curriculum Teach a range of disciplines, which may include Fine Art, Graphics, Product Design, Resistant Materials, Textiles, or Digital Design Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking • Ensure a safe and well-managed workshop/studio environment Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities Maintain equipment, tools, and materials in line with health and safety regulations The sole ethos for the school community is ‘“if you do the small things right, big things can happen.” Whilst we are committed to ensuring that every student makes excellent progress, this concept stretches well beyond academic performance.
