About the Role
Perform on-site inspections, trouble-shooting, installations, static and dynamic testing and analysis of electric<br />
motors, vibration analysis, laser alignment and service maintenance related activities using specialized tools, and<br />
state-of-the-art measuring and condition monitoring devices.
<ul>
<li>Inspect electrical connections, wiring, relays, charging resistance boxes, and storage batteries, following wiring diagrams.</li>
<li>Measure velocity, horsepower, revolutions per minute (rpm), amperage, circuitry, and voltage of units or parts to diagnose problems, using ammeters, voltmeters, watt-meters, and other testing devices.</li>
<li>Analyze inspection and test results in relation to design or rated specifications of motors, and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications</li>
<li>Repair and rebuild defective electrical/mechanical parts in electric motors, generators, and related equipment, using hand tools and power tools.</li>
<li>Disassemble and reassemble repaired electric motors to specified requirements and ratings, using hand tools and electrical meters.</li>
<li>Rewire electrical systems, and repair or replace electrical accessories.</li>
<li>Record repairs performed, parts used, and labor time.</li>
<li>Install motors, equipment, machines, wiring to meet specifications.</li>
<li>Conduct on-site inspections of electric motors and pumps to include MCC panel connections and perform analysis, troubleshooting and repair.</li>
