About the Role
<p>Join a well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in <strong>South London</strong> as a <strong>Veterinary Surgeon with an Orthopaedic Bias</strong>. This is a <strong>full-time, permanent position</strong>, offering the opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped hospital with a strong, collaborative team and excellent facilities.</p>
<p>The hospital provides full 24-hour care with a dedicated night team and offers advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment including <strong>laparoscopic kit, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, and endoscopy</strong>. With <strong>two theatres, a separate dental suite, imaging room, and dedicated cat ward</strong>, the environment is purpose-built for exceptional clinical standards and patient comfort.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />
We’re seeking a vet with a strong interest or experience in orthopaedic surgery to join a skilled and supportive team. You’ll handle a diverse caseload with the chance to further develop your surgical expertise in a well-resourced setting.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Perform advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries (e.g. TPLO, TTA, arthroscopy, fracture repair).</p>
<li>
<p>Conduct laparoscopic procedures including lap spays.</p>
<li>
<p>Provide excellent diagnostic skills, including imaging interpretation.</p>
<li>
<p>Manage complex cases with confidence and precision.</p>
<li>
<p>Deliver clear, empathetic communication to clients.</p>
<li>
<p>Support and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high clinical standards.</p>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon.</p>
<li>
<p>Proven experience in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.</p>
<li>
<p>Confident with advanced surgical techniques and imaging.</p>
<li>
<p>Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.</p>
<li>
<p>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</p>
