WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Warehouse Material Handler will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, moving materials throughout the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily operational goals while following established safety and quality procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse and forklift experience who enjoy working in a hands-on environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
- Follow established standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
- Perform routine warehouse tasks and material movement activities.
- Support production and logistics operations by ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Conduct basic inspections of equipment and work areas.
- Utilize warehouse systems and computer programs to complete required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and operational needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 6+ months of forklift experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.
Preferred:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.
- Experience operating slip and clamp attachments.
- Forklift certification or related equipment training.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work around moving equipment and machinery.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- Ability to wear required safety equipment, including steel-toe footwear.
