Hybrid-work model Virginia joined Siemens during the pandemic in a fully remote position. Now, she’s retained a bit of that freedom in a hybrid-working model, which enables her to travel and see her family located in a city further away. A sabbatical Matteo took a sabbatical that allowed him to share his knowledge with a world outside Siemens, by working for a year in a non-profit organization in Mexico. Job-sharing model Bettina and Alex share one position together. By splitting the tasks with Alex, Bettina appreciates the freedom the part-time setup gives her to take care of her child. 2-day work week enables work and study Erika works part time at the weekend in the factory helping her pay for her studies for a Psychology degree during the week. Balanced parenting Chris and his wife wanted to have a more balanced relationship when it comes to parenting. Flexible work makes it possible for Chris to spend more time with his children. A reinvisioned role after parental leave After her parental leave, Elisabeth decided to return to her role part-time. The team is glad to have her back.
