I'm hiring a Finance Data & Insights Consultant to join a leading UK financial services organisation on a 12‑month FTC.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of finance, data, and business decision‑making - turning data into insight that directly influences strategy and performance.

The role

You'll play a key role within the finance function, supporting:

  • Finance partnering and planning processes
  • Performance analysis and forecasting
  • Data‑driven decision‑making across the business

This is a hands‑on analytical role with strong stakeholder exposure, where you'll be translating complex data into clear, actionable insight.

What you'll be doing
  • Deliver data‑driven insight to support business performance and strategy
  • Build and develop forecasting models and performance analysis
  • Support planning and reforecasting processes across the business
  • Develop and improve reporting and dashboards
  • Work closely with finance and non‑finance stakeholders to interpret data and shape decisions
  • Contribute to automation, data platform improvements, and process optimisation
  • Support knowledge sharing and help build capability across the team

Must‑haves

  • Strong experience in data analysis and insight delivery
  • Experience using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or similar
  • Experience building forecasting models and performance reporting
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insight
  • Strong stakeholder engagement - comfortable working across finance and business teams

  • Experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or commercial finance
  • Experience working in regulated or corporate environments
