Infrastructure AnalystPapworth Everard (2-3 days per week onsite)£35k-£40kThis is a great role for someone who enjoys shaping modern workplace tools and strengthening cloud security across a busy hybrid environment.You’ll join a small but capable IT team where everyone gets involved in meaningful technical work. If you like the idea of owning cloud services, improving security controls, and supporting a mixture of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Meraki technologies, this role will give you both variety and impact.Role Style & Setup:You’ll take responsibility for cloud platforms, endpoint management, and parts of the network alongside BAU support and project work. This position suits someone who likes autonomy, enjoys learning, and wants exposure to the full lifecycle of infrastructure from planning and deployment through to optimisation and security hardening. Travel to other company sites will be needed from time to time for installations, rollouts, and hands-on fixes.Key Responsibilities:Manage and enhance identity services through Entra ID, including access controls and MFAOversee hybrid identity via Azure AD ConnectConfigure and review security tools across the Microsoft Defender suiteBuild and maintain endpoint configurations through Intune and AutopilotSupport Meraki-based networking across firewalls, switches, and wirelessAssist with Azure networking, VPNs, and connectivity between sitesWork on upgrades and replacements for older VMs, operating systems, and applicationsHelp drive automation, standardisation, and overall service improvementSkills & Experience Required:Experience working with Azure, Microsoft 365, and modern security controlsStrong understanding of Entra ID/Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFAConfident managing Intune/Endpoint Manager and Defender security toolsPractical knowledge of Cisco Meraki firewalls, switching, and wirelessExperience performing upgrades or migrations across servers, OSs, or applicationsFull right to work in the Uk without restrictionsFull drivers licence, with access to car and willingness to travel to other sites when needed For more information and a full job description, please contact Andy Clarke at The One Group!
