Immunizing Registered Nurse (Float) – Vaccination Initiative Pay: $55.75/hour (W2) Location: Los Alamitos, CA Type: Contract (W2) | Duration: ~14 weeks | Hours: 40/week Schedule: Sunday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (must be flexible) Position Overview We’re seeking an Immunizing RN to support a high-volume vaccination initiative. In this patient-facing role, you’ll administer multiple vaccines (Flu, COVID, MMR, etc.) while delivering a calm, compassionate experience for each patient. PPE is provided. Key Responsibilities Administer vaccinations safely and efficiently (Flu, COVID, MMR, and others) Provide patient education and answer basic vaccine-related questions Maintain strong clinical standards and documentation practices Collaborate with onsite staff to support smooth daily operations Deliver excellent customer/patient service in a fast-paced community healthcare setting Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted RN license in the state you’ll be working in BLS (Basic Life Support) certification At least 1 year of nursing experience, including immunizations/patient care (preferred/expected per role scope) Strong interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Must not be on applicable excluded parties lists Work Setting Onsite / patient-facing role Application Note A brief candidate questionnaire is required as part of the submission process.
