We're representing a well-established construction and plant services company in Dronfield that is expanding its depot team. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role working on a varied fleet of JCB telehandlers, Bomag rollers, Kubota excavators, and Terex & Thwaites dumpers.
If you enjoy keeping machines running, diagnosing faults, and taking ownership of repairs, this could be the perfect move for you.
What You'll Do
As a Plant Fitter / Workshop Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping the fleet moving:
Inspect, service, and repair construction plant machinery
Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs efficiently
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Estimate repair requirements and advise on costs
Monitor workshop stock and parts availability
Support deliveries and collections when needed

What You Need
Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing plant machinery

Bonus: NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent - if not, the company will support you to achieve it.
