Change Communications and Engagement Officer

Reporting to the Change Communications Manager, your primary focus will be on internal communications – helping colleagues across the organisation understand, engage with, and feel supported through change. You will bring fresh thinking, curiosity and creativity, while working within a professional and purpose-driven environment – helping to ensure that change is clearly understood, effectively communicated and positively experienced.

Specifically, your remit will include:

  • contributing to the delivery of the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, bringing fresh thinking to how messages are developed and shared;
  • creating high-quality, accessible content across a range of formats – including video, graphics and digital media – ensuring communications are clear, engaging and on-brand;
  • supporting the development and delivery of communications plans for projects, campaigns and channels, using insight and feedback to continuously improve approach and impact; and
  • creating content for internal and external channels, including our intranet (Sharepoint essential), newsletters, colleague briefings, Viva Engage, social media platforms, and events.

We are looking for someone who offers experience of:

  • communicating and engaging with a range of stakeholders, including internal audiences, senior leaders and external stakeholders;
  • developing and delivering communications plans to support projects or organisational change initiatives;
  • creating and editing engaging, accessible content across a range of formats (e.g. written, visual, video or digital content) tailored to different audiences; and
  • digital communication tools including web content management systems (SharePoint and Canva essential), newsletter platforms and social media management tools.

It’s a particularly good time to join us and to contribute your skills to the evolution of our ambitious, influential and growing organisation.

In addition to the salary offered, we also offer a range of other benefits including a commitment to a healthy work / life balance, including a 35-hour working week.
