Senior Business Analyst – UAT & Test Coordination (NPPV3 Cleared) Overview We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) to support a policing programme implementing a forensic case and quality management system. This is a short-term, delivery-focused assignment requiring an individual who can quickly establish structure around testing, working closely with operational users to ensure workflows are effectively validated. The role will involve coordinating UAT activity across forensic functions, supporting users who may have limited experience of structured testing, and ensuring delivery remains on track within a time-critical phase. Key Responsibilities UAT Planning & Approach Establish and implement a clear UAT approach across forensic functions Develop test plans aligned to system configuration and operational workflows Test Scenario Development Work with subject matter experts to translate operational processes into structured test scenarios Ensure comprehensive test coverage across case management and quality management processes User Enablement Support forensic scientists and operational users in developing and executing test scripts Provide clear guidance on testing processes and expectations Coordination & Delivery Coordinate testing activity across teams, ensuring alignment and progress Monitor execution, track defects, and ensure issues are clearly captured and progressed Stakeholder Engagement Act as the interface between operational users and technical delivery teams Facilitate clear communication of issues, risks, and testing outcomes Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst with strong involvement in UAT Demonstrable experience establishing and coordinating UAT in live delivery environments Experience working within UK policing or closely aligned public sector environments Familiarity with case management or CRM systems Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with non-technical users Ability to operate effectively in time-constrained, in-flight programmes Essential Requirement Current and valid NPPV3 clearance (mandatory) Candidates without active NPPV3 clearance will not be considered. Contract Details Duration: Initial 8 weeks Start: Immediate (subject to clearance validation) Day rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35) Location: Hybrid working within a UK policing environment Extension: Potential for extension, subject to programme requirements Candidate Profile This role requires a proactive and delivery-focused individual who can add value from day one.
