<p><span style="-small"><strong>About the Role</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="-small">Connex Education is working with a primary school in Upton seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support across Key Stage 2 classes (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6). The role will primarily involve supporting pupils in maths, so a solid working knowledge of the Key Stage 2 maths curriculum is essential.</span></p>
<p><span style="-small">To be successful in this role, you should have experience supporting children with additional needs and managing challenging behaviour. A nurturing, calm and patient approach is key.</span></p>

<p><span style="-small">This is a part-time position, on Thursdays and Fridays. You will start ASAP and the assignment will run until the end of the academic year, July 2026.</span></p>

<li><span style="-small">A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.</span></li>
<li><span style="-small">GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.</span></li>
<li><span style="-small">Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.</span></li>
