Area Operative

<p>We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team, supporting a range of outdoor maintenance services including landscaping and street cleaning. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented public and private spaces.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li>Carry out general landscaping duties such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and garden maintenance</li> <li>Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely</li> <li>Perform street cleaning tasks including litter picking, sweeping, pressure washing, and waste collection</li> <li>Assist with site clearances and removal of green waste and debris</li> <li>Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, and presentable to a high standard</li> <li>Follow health and safety guidelines at all times</li> </ul> <p><b>Requirements:</b></p> <ul> <li>A valid driving licence is essential (required for insurance purposes)</li> <li>Ability to carry out physically demanding work, including heavy lifting</li> <li>Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions</li> <li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> </ul> <p><b>Working Hours:</b></p> <ul> <li>7:00am – 3:00pm</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay:</b></p> <ul> <li>£13.76 per hour</li> </ul> <p>This role involves hands-on, physical work and is well suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.</p>
