About the Role

Mobile TA – Experience With Challenging Behaviours  Location: West Sussex (Crawley, Crawley Down, Cuckfield & Haywards Heath)Start: ASAP | Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Term Time Only)Pay: £100 per dayTravel: Travel expenses paid We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school’s Blended Learning Team. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work as a mobile TA, providing 1:1 support to pupils in their homes to help them access and engage with their education. There is no lesson planning involved — your role will focus on supporting learning, building confidence and promoting emotional regulation. All pupils have anxiety and SEMH needs, with many diagnosed as autistic. You will be supporting approximately 7 pupils in Years 9–11 across the week. ⚠️ This is a travelling role — candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. You will be travelling between: Crawley Crawley Down Cuckfield Haywards Heath Key Requirements: Experience supporting young people with SEMH, anxiety, or autism Confidence working independently in a 1:1 setting Calm, patient and empathetic approach Strong communication skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What’s on Offer: Unique blended learning role supporting pupils outside of a traditional classroom Full-time, term-time temporary position £100 per day Travel expenses paid Opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils who struggle to access school settings How to Apply If you are resilient, compassionate, and passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs, we would love to hear from you.
