About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineer to support the growth of our expanding healthcare-focused MEP practice. This is a remote opportunity for a motivated engineer located in or near Atlanta or Nashville who is interested in helping establish and grow a regional presence, with a long-term path toward Principal-level leadership and team development.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in healthcare facilities and either hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license or be close to obtaining licensure, including candidates who have passed the PE exam.
Responsibilities
  • Design and coordinate Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing systems for healthcare and commercial projects
  • Develop construction documents, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
  • Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in client meetings and help support business development efforts in the Southeast region
  • Mentor junior engineering staff as the team grows
  • Assist leadership in establishing and expanding a future brick-and-mortar office presence
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and healthcare regulations
  • Support project delivery from conceptual design through construction administration
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • PE license preferred, or candidate must have passed the PE exam / be actively pursuing licensure
  • 5+ years of MEP engineering experience preferred
  • Healthcare project experience strongly preferred (hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings, surgical centers, etc.)
  • Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD required
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a growing team
