<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead electrical design activities across all RIBA stages, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions.</li>
<li>Manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders.</li>
<li>Oversee quality assurance procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.</li>
<li>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.</li>
<li>Conduct site inspections, support commissioning activities, and perform technical reviews.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<p>To be successful in this role, you will need:</p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design.</li>
<li>Proven experience leading projects and managing engineering teams.</li>
<li>Membership with CIBSE or IET (or actively working towards membership).</li>
<li>Progress towards achieving Chartered Engineer status.</li>
<li>Strong technical expertise in:
<ul>
<li>LV distribution and switchgear</li>
<li>Cable calculations (e.g., Amtech / ElectricalOM)</li>
<li>Generator, transformer, and UPS systems</li>
<li>Lighting design (Dialux / Relux)</li>
<li>Fire alarm and life safety systems</li>
<li>HV infrastructure and private networks</li>
<li>CAD and BIM software</li>
</ul>

<p>Your typical day will involve:</p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborating with clients and project teams to develop tailored electrical engineering solutions.</li>
<li>Preparing detailed designs, calculations, and specifications for building services projects.</li>
<li>Leading project meetings and ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.</li>
<li>Reviewing and approving technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.</li>
<li>Conducting site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.</li>
<li>Supporting the professional development of junior team members through mentoring and training.</li>
