Science Teacher – Northampton September Start

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3 and KS4.
• Take full responsibility for teaching duties, including lesson planning, marking, assessment, and classroom management.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations through effective teaching, regular assessments, and targeted intervention.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where every student can succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Science department.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A strong understanding of the UK Science curriculum and effective classroom teaching practices.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
• Two recent, education-based professional references.
