Maths Teacher - Blackpool

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a Maths Teacher to join a vibrant specialist SEND school in the Blackpool area on a long‑term basis.
The full‑time post is due to start in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

The school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and empowering them to achieve both academically and personally through tailored educational pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated Maths lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
• Supporting pupils to develop confidence, numeracy skills and independence in learning
• Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals to implement personalised learning plans and interventions

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics, ideally within a SEND or inclusive educational setting
• Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies, SEND provision and behaviour support
• Two education or school‑based references
