About the role: Justteachers are recruiting for one of our partner secondary schools in Peterborough for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher. This ambitious and supportive school is looking to shortlist candidates immediately for a forthcoming September start. The role will initially be offered on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to become a permanent appointment for the right candidate. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and competence in mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. You will join a welcoming department committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive attitude towards mathematics throughout the school community. Key Responsibilities: • Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school environment • Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4 • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons • Passion for promoting numeracy and higher achievement across all abilities • Assess, monitor and support student progress effectively • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and participation • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality educational outcomes • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement Pre-requisites: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification • Referenceable teaching experience within the last two years • Excellent classroom management and communication skills • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing • A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning If you are interested in this position please apply below.
