MedicsPro are seeking experienced Head of Maternity - Band 8a for a 4 month placement at Portsmouth Hospital.
This opportunity is to cover various working shifts Available. With the opportunity of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Provide operational midwifery leadership across women's services, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficient service provision.
* Clinical Governance: Develop and maintain clinical and operational governance systems, including clinical risk management and quality assurance.
* Service Delivery: Ensure that maternity and gynaecology services meet clinical quality standards and improve patient experiences.
* Team Management: Lead and support midwives in delivering high-quality maternity care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Policy Development: Work on clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
