About the Role

Hospital & Branch Role, Buckinghamshire<br />
(4-Day Week)</h2>
<p>Join a well-established, independent small animal practice in <strong>Buckinghamshire</strong> with multiple sites, offering a varied and rewarding Registered Veterinary Nurse role across a hospital and branch setting.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, highly skilled team where support, development, and work-life balance are genuinely prioritised.</p>
<h3><u><strong>The Role</strong></u></h3>
<ul>
<li>4-day working week
<li>Shifts between 8:00am – 7:00pm
<li>Split between hospital and branch (rota dependent)
<li>Varied caseload including:
<ul>
<li>Nurse consultations
<li>Surgical nursing
<li>Inpatient care
</ul>
<li>Opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in orthopaedics and cardiology
<li>Large, supportive team environment (20+ vets, RVNs, and support staff)
</ul>
<h3><u><strong>Out of Hours (OOH)</strong></u></h3>
<ul>
<li>Approximately 1 night per week
<li>On-site accommodation available for overnight stays
<li>Ability to rest/sleep if not busy
<li>Paid additionally for:
<ul>
<li>OOH shift
<li>Each inpatient check
</ul>
</ul>
<h3><u><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></u></h3>
<ul>
<li>£28,000 for newly qualified RVNs
<li>Up to £33,000 for more experienced nurses
<li>Overtime and OOH paid on top (realistic earnings into high £30Ks–£40Ks)
<li>5 weeks annual leave
<li>Flexible rota options available (including part-time or reduced OOH for experienced nurses)
