<b>Controller (Corporate Controller)</b><br /> <br /> Cherry Bekaert Recruiting &amp; Staffing is conducting a search for an experienced <b>Corporate Controller</b> to oversee and manage the organization’s accounting operations and financial reporting. This role carries full ownership of GAAP‑compliant financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and the close and audit processes.<br /> <br /> The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, technically strong accounting leader who can own the full accounting lifecycle, ensure rigorous compliance with GAAP, and serve as the company’s primary authority on financial reporting and technical accounting matters. While operational exposure is valued, this role is firmly focused on core corporate accounting, not plant or operational finance.<br /> <br /> <b>Key Responsibilities</b> <ul> <li>Own and oversee all corporate accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the full month‑end and year‑end close process</li> <li>Ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP‑compliant financial reporting, with strong balance sheet oversight and reconciliation discipline</li> <li>Lead revenue recognition activities, including application of ASC 606</li> <li>Manage and continuously improve the close process, internal controls, and accounting policies and procedures</li> <li>Lead or heavily support external audits and coordinate all audit‑related activities</li> <li>Oversee consolidations and intercompany accounting, as applicable</li> <li>Ensure compliance with tax‑related and regulatory requirements, including sales and use tax</li> <li>Partner with leadership to provide financial insight, ensure reporting consistency, and support sound business decision‑making</li> </ul> <b>Qualifications</b> <ul> <li>8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility</li> <li>Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP with demonstrated ownership of financial reporting and the close process</li> <li>Proven experience leading or significantly participating in external audits</li> <li>Strong revenue recognition experience (ASC 606 strongly preferred)</li> <li>Experience with consolidations and corporate‑level accounting</li> <li>Hands‑on leadership style with strong attention to detail and accountability</li> <li>CPA preferred</li> </ul> <b>Compensation</b> <ul> <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li> </ul> This opportunity is well suited for a <b>Corporate Controller</b> who thrives in a true ownership role—someone who can fully own the company’s financial reporting and technical accounting while bringing structure, rigor, and leadership to a growing organization.<br /> <br /> IND4
