About the Role
<h3><strong>Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Cheshire</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Salary up to £73,000 (depending on experience)</strong></p>
<p>My client in Cheshire is looking for an <strong>experienced and inspiring Veterinary Surgeon</strong> with a passion for both people and pets to take on a <strong>Lead Vet</strong> role at a busy <strong>24/7 hospital.</strong></p>
<p>In this role, you’ll lead and support a dedicated team of vets, guiding them to deliver outstanding clinical standards and compassionate care. You’ll also play an active part in mentoring, coaching, and developing the wider clinical team.</p>
<p>Working closely with the <strong>Practice Manager</strong> and <strong>Lead Nurse</strong>, you’ll help shape the day-to-day operations of the hospital, review key performance indicators, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice.</p>
<h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3>

<p>Comfortable with leadership responsibilities, including 1-2-1s and performance management</p>

<p>VetGDP qualification (or willingness to obtain)</p>

<p>Interest in business performance, KPIs, and clinical governance (experience beneficial but not essential)</p>
