About the Role

</p> <p><strong>Resolution and Tribunal Officer</strong><br /> £380 per day<br /> Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office (flexible, with remote working options)</p> <p>We’re looking for an experienced <strong>Resolution and Tribunal Officer</strong> to join a busy SEND service, supporting the effective management of appeals and disputes relating to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).</p> <p>This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of tribunal cases, represent the organisation at hearings, and work closely with families, legal teams, and education professionals to achieve positive and timely outcomes.</p> <p><em><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>Manage SEND appeal cases through the <strong>First-tier Tribunal process</strong>, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met</li> <li>Coordinate and facilitate <strong>mediations</strong> to resolve disputes wherever possible</li> <li>Represent the organisation at tribunal hearings, preparing high-quality casework and evidence</li> <li>Build strong working relationships with <strong>parents/carers, young people, legal representatives, and education settings</strong></li> <li>Maintain accurate and detailed records across all cases</li> <li>Work collaboratively across teams to support effective and consistent decision-making</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>About You</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in <strong>SEND, EHCP processes, and tribunal work</strong></li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>SEND legislation and appeals processes</strong></li> <li>Confident managing complex cases and representing at hearings</li> <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Reference 1742974</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>If</strong><strong> you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to Beth</strong><strong>@essentialemploy.co.uk</strong><strong> quoting the reference number.</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
