Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Hitchin with the recruitment of an Audit Semi Senior / Audit Senior

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified professional with practice experience to join a supportive audit team. Working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, you will take ownership of audit assignments while continuing to develop your technical skills and progress your career within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Prepare audit files and working papers to a high professional standard
• Liaise directly with clients throughout the audit process
• Identify audit risks and communicate findings to managers
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

Key Requirements

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified
• Minimum 3 years experience within a medium-size UK accountancy practice
• Experience leading audit assignments with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of UK auditing standards
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Previous experience supervising junior staff
• Knowledge CaseWare (highly beneficial)
