LNG - Business Analyst

​Contract LNG Business Analyst - EOS / Energy Trading 📍 Hybrid - London 📝 Contract – Outside IR35 We are currently supporting a major energy trading organisation in the search for an experienced LNG Business Analyst with strong EOS (Energy One) expertise to support a number of critical trading and technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced commodity trading environment, partnering closely with trading, operations, and technology teams to enhance and optimise LNG trading processes and systems. ​ Key Responsibilities Act as the Business Analyst supporting LNG trading and operations teams Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements Work closely with traders, schedulers, risk teams, and IT to deliver system improvements Support configuration and optimisation of the EOS ETRM platform Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams Facilitate UAT, testing, and system implementation Drive process improvements across LNG trade lifecycle, scheduling, and risk Key Skills & Experience Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within energy or commodity trading Strong experience with EOS (Energy One) ETRM platform Experience supporting LNG trading or natural gas trading environments Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle within commodity trading Experience working with front office, risk, and operations teams Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Desirable Experience working on ETRM implementations or enhancements Exposure to LNG logistics, scheduling, or nominations Experience working within Agile delivery environments Additional Information Contract role – Outside IR35 Immediate start preferred Competitive day rate Remote working with occasional travel depending on project requirements If you are an LNG Business Analyst with EOS experience and would like to learn more about this opportunity, please apply or reach out directly - lpignone@vallumassociates.com
