Job Profile Summary<br>Performs in a leadership role within the Electrophysiology Lab and acts as a physician technical extender with the knowledge skills and abilities to support the high end clinical execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the laboratory setting.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of services.</p></li><li><p>Assist the attending physician or Fellow in the technical performance of electrophysiology procedures.</p></li><li><p>Implements procedure specific technical interventions based upon the individual patient physician and procedure support needs.</p></li><li><p>Actively participates in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities for self while assisting in the professional development of others.</p></li><li><p>Provides for a safe environment of care.</p></li><li><p>In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p><p></p><p>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Bio Medicine a Life Science or related discipline. Specialized formal and/or on the job training in a comprehensive electrophysiology setting or background preparation in Bio Engineering or a Life Science.</p><p>Experience: 5 years relevant experience in invasive cardiology preferably relative to this position.</p><p>Licensure: Heart Rhythm Society IBHRE Certification for Electrophysiology within 18 months of hire. </p><p></p><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p><p></p><p>Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs.
