About the Role

<h2>Global Sales Executive &#8211; Bristol</h2> <p>We are looking for a Strategic Freight Sales Executive to drive business growth and manage high-value, strategic accounts. This role focuses on developing new customer revenue, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and delivering results across complex, high-impact accounts.</p> <p><strong>Job type:</strong> Permanent</p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday &#8211; 09:00 &#8211; 17:30</p> <p><strong>Package:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Car allowance</li> <li>Commission</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Day to day:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own and grow a portfolio of named strategic accounts, driving new business and exceeding revenue targets.</li> <li>Prospect, qualify, and engage potential customers to maintain a strong and active sales pipeline.</li> <li>Schedule and execute productive sales calls and meetings, ensuring consistent follow-up and opportunity management.</li> <li>Navigate opportunities through the full sales process using advanced sales techniques and internal resources.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for customer needs, including cost-benefit analyses and logistics planning.</li> <li>Support on-boarding and smooth transition of new accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and customer introductions.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide timely reporting on sales activities.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Proven experience managing and closing large, strategic accounts from a freight forwarding setting</li> <li>Must have experience with a UK based freight forwarder</li> <li>Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, process mapping, and cost drivers.</li> <li>Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.</li> <li>Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Confident, persuasive, and able to influence decisions at all levels.</li> <li>Fluent in English and able to meet customers off-site regularly.</li> <li>Proficient with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.</li> </ul> <p>WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
