Work at the centre of emerging‑market FX, payments, and correspondent banking. Own and grow strategic relationships across Asia‑Pacific markets. About Our Client A regulated UK bank that bridges emerging and frontier markets with the global economy using advanced FX and payments technology. They simplify and modernise emerging‑market payments, connecting traditionally hard to reach regions to global financial infrastructure. Job Description Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow revenue and improve profitability. Originate new business by identifying prospects, generating leads, and converting opportunities into long‑term clients. Develop deep expertise across relevant products, including FX, payments, correspondent banking, trade finance, derivatives, and other banking solutions, acting as a subject matter expert for your client segment. Drive cross‑selling across multiple products and demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts and solutions. Partner closely with Network Management, Marketing, and Product teams to align client needs with product strategy and market opportunities. Represent the bank at industry conferences, client events, and forums. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to adapt strategies as conditions evolve. Analyse market data to identify trends and support data‑driven decision‑making. Maintain high standards of conduct risk management and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and fair client outcomes. The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Institutions Coverage Banker should have: Proven experience in a Client Relationship Manager role or similar client‑facing position. Demonstrated experience working with Financial Institutions across Asia‑Pacific markets. Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to learn new products, markets, and financial concepts quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. Solid understanding of sales methodologies and commercial development techniques. Adaptable and flexible in response to changing market conditions and client needs.
