About the Role
Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist machinery.
Due to growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias, to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing a range of machinery for clients based across the UK.
Responsibilities will include:
Fault diagnosing and repair (electrical and mechanical)
Troubleshooting known and unknown issues related to breakdown
Building and maintaining a strong relationship with clients
Training machinery operators
Maintaining a high level of health & safety at all times
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Electrical knowledge ranging from safety circuits, low voltage relay logic, and PLC control systems to high current power circuits including motors and heaters, as well as a strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a strong relationship with colleagues and clients at all levels
A full clean driving licence
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, growing business that can offer ongoing training and development. Core hours will be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, although there will be regular travel across the UK which will involve overnight stays (all expenses will be covered).
