SQL Developer – Job Specification Role Overview We’re looking for a SQL Developer to support a Data Warehouse replacement and reporting simplification project. You’ll work on rebuilding data pipelines, improving reporting structures, and supporting the migration to modern Microsoft data platforms. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimise, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures Support Data Warehouse rebuild/migration activities Streamline reporting structures and improve data models Build and maintain Power BI datasets and reports Work with Azure / Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Lakehouse, Pipelines, Data Factory) Key Skills Strong SQL / T‑SQL development experience Power BI (data modelling + report building) Experience with Data Warehousing, ETL, or data migration Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse/Data Factory Good understanding of data modelling and reporting best practices Nice to Have Experience in analytics engineering or BI development Knowledge of modern cloud data architectures
