Junior Project Manager (Defence)

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the planning, delivery and control of projects and change programmes
• Developing project plans, timelines and resource schedules
• Monitoring progress against milestones and proactively identifying risks and issues
• Managing project documentation, reporting and governance processes
• Supporting stakeholder engagement across internal teams, customers and partners
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and resource planning
• Contributing to continuous improvement in delivery practices

You’ll need to be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift. Strong communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure are key.

What we’re looking for

• Experience or strong interest in project management within technology, engineering or consultancy environments
• Relevant qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMI or working towards)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
• Awareness of project delivery across product development or complex programmes is beneficial
