1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant Stratford upon Avon September 2026

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Specialist to support primary-aged pupils within a specialist SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and continuing until July 2027. You will work closely with individual learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning while promoting confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Deliver personalised learning activities in line with EHCP targets.
• Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• Record progress and contribute to pupil reviews.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting.
• Understanding of autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
